Trio project with with bassist Kim Cass and drummer Jason Nazary is an exciting venture into defining the collaborative sound of the anti-trio. Having been through periods of writing through composed stuff, short quirky polyphonic pieces as a platform to improvise in the past, I felt compelled to surrender any pianistic attempts in exchange of mere, and unconstrained search of the sound and color created within the intersection of uncontrolled curiosity and raw, and undefined textural plasticism...whatever that may be and letting us take new avenues every time we sit down to play. Debut album of the trio is coming up in September, 2015, stay tuned!
